| Welcome to the Question and Answer
section! Q. It has on your main comic page a Donation Button...Do I HAVE to donate money to you? A. No you don't. You can if you like, but seeing that I do art as a "living" (whether it's this comic, or doing commissions for people), it's nice to have a little bit of spending money all to myself. Q. Do you do commissions? Can I be in your comic?? A. At the moment, I've got enough projects to work on, so no, I'm not taking commissions. As for you being in my comic, I'm afraid the answer will be "no". I will only add people that I know in my comic, such as my close friends, my husband, or just my own characters. There may be a time where I might auction the idea of people wanting to be in my comic, but that will be very rare. Q. Who's Trinsic? A. Ironically, this is a VERY popular question that I get asked a LOT! Trinsic is my husband. Not only is he HollyAnn's husband/life-mate, but he is my REAL husband. Q. I love your characters! Can I draw them? A. By all means, sure! In fact, if you draw any of the characters here, Email it to me, along with your name (it can be your online alias instead of your real name), and I'll post it up in the Fan Art! Q. Who...or what...exactly is Clax? A. Clax started out as my Neopet. He's a Purple Darigan Eyrie (I made him look different, just so he can be different) but since I've created him 3 years ago, he's grown to be more than just pixels on the screen, he's become a very popular character. For the purposes of this comic though, I've changed him into a Gryphon, which he doesn't mind at all, because there was nothing really to change on him...Well, other than the fact that he has to grow up again. LOL! Q. That comic was hilarious!! Can I print it up and post it on my wall? A. Sure! I don't mind if you do that, as long as you print it up for your own purpose and not to sell the comic strips. Please don't steal and/or alter my comics and claim them as your own. That's just mean. And mean people suck. Q. Will you ever make a book with the complete collection of your comic strips? A. I....don't know yet! LOL! I might, who knows? The comic (at the time of typing this) is still very new, so I would imagine maybe after it's been a year or so. Only time will tell. Q. I have my own online comic, can I draw one of your characters making a cameo appearance in it? A. Maybe, maybe not. Email me FIRST before doing anything, because I'd like to know what your comic is like before I say it's Ok to do so. Please respect my wishes if I refuse though...sometimes I just don't want my characters to be involved in certain situations. Q. I'm going to a furry convention....will you be there too, and draw in my sketchbook? How much do you charge? A. Sure! The line-up for Furry Conventions that I'm going to for 2005 are: C-ACE, Anthrocon, and Mephit FurMeet. I will have a Dealer's Room table at C-ACE and Anthrocon, but I will only have a table at the Artist Alley for MFM, so I will only be present in the Artist Alley at certain times. As for how much I charge...Since C-ACE is in Canada, the prices will be slightly higher because of the exchange rate between it and the States, as well we have to charge tax, depending on where we are too. The flat rate though, for a black and white line-art sketch is $15. Colour is $20. And then, of course, there's the tax added onto those prices. But visit my table and we'll see what we can do. Also, bare in mind that since I'm at a convention, and I need to draw for people in just three short days, please understand if the drawing looks a little rushed. I always try to complete people's sketchbook drawings the best I can. Q. On the subject of furry conventions, what else do you do/sell there? A. Well, I also offer conbadge commissions for $10 (plus tax), custom bookmarker commissions for also $10 (plus tax), and pre-made magnets for $3 (plus tax...don'tcha just love tax? I don't!). In my off-hours from the Dealer's Room, I like to try and relax because, well, I've just spent an entire day, trapped behind my table, drawing for all those hours (in most cases I don't even get up to do anything). So I'm usually tired and very hungry, because I'm a bad little vixie and I skip eating lunch. I'm not a party or dance person, so I usually keep to myself, or I will hang around a few of my friends. Sometimes I'll attend a room party in which I'll draw for people again and this time it's free drawings, but I only do that for my friends. Q. Is there ever going to be any Mountain Poutine merchandise? A. I don't know for sure. I do plan on making something to promote the comic while I'm at the conventions this year. I doubt it'll be on mugs or T-shirts though. I'll just have to see what happens when the time comes. Q. Can I link back to your comic? A. Absolutely! You can find link buttons to Mountain Poutine in my Lynx section. Q. Where does your comic take place? A. For the most part? Here in rural Vermont. I can't seem to draw backgrounds very well, so...bare with me! LOL! More
to add in the future!
