Dear Mountain Poutine Readers,

I'm sorry it's even taken me this long to even put this message here, it should've been here a long time ago.

I regret to say that I doubt I will have the time to continue Mountain Poutine at this time.  Life is just too busy at the moment.  When I started Mountain Poutine, it started as a project that was to be fun and to help keep me motivated to draw, but at times it became so much in demand, that it seemed more of a chore and just not fun to do anymore.  Other times, when it was fun to do, I just didn't have the time to do it.

Will Mountain Poutine remain abandoned?  Who knows?   Maybe sometime in the future I might pick it up again if I don't have too much on my plate, but for the moment, I think it's safe to say that I'm just too busy to continue it.

I've also had people ask me if I would pass the torch to another artist to let it continue, and my answer to that is no, I won't.  The reason is because "HollyAnn" and "Trinsic" are my and my husband's personas within the furry fandom, and Clax is a personal character of mine - all of which I couldn't see them being handled by another, or risk having their personalities or original storylines being changed by another artist or writer.  Not to mention the many cameos made by other people's personas/personal characters, in which I had asked them if I could feature them in the comic for that particular storyline.

I still have stories lined up for the Mountain Poutine Gang, I haven't forgotten them.  But at this time, the comic was demanding too much of my time to continue it.  Again, maybe perhaps sometime in the future, I might pick it up where I've left off, but I honestly can't say when that would be...if at all.

I'd like to thank everyone who's read Mountain Poutine throughout the years and have expressed their liking and enjoyment of the comic while it was around...I'm especially happy to hear that Clax has many fans out there :)  I'll still be continuing to draw Clax on the side as well.

Once again, many apologies that I won't be continuing Mountain Poutine.  If I ever decide to pick up the comic and continue, the best I can do is suggest to watch my art galleries that feature a journal on it, such as DeviantArt, FurAffinity, FurryArtPile, and so on, for any possible updates.

Thanks!

~Lisa "HollyAnn" Cotton~
